What P0302 means
Cylinder 2 isn't firing cleanly. Isolated to one cylinder, so chase the plug, coil, injector, or compression on that hole.
Most likely causes (in order)
- Spark plug or coil on cylinder 2
- Injector for cylinder 2
- Low compression on cylinder 2
- Localized vacuum leak

What to check first
Swap the coil/plug with a neighbor cylinder — if the misfire follows, it's that part. Otherwise compression-test cylinder 2.
