What P0446 means
The vent valve (which lets the canister breathe and seals it for leak tests) isn't responding right, electrically or mechanically.
Most likely causes (in order)
- Stuck or clogged vent valve
- Wiring / connector to the vent valve
- Debris/spider in the vent line
- Charcoal canister fault
