What P1104 means on specific makes

Mitsubishi CAUTION

Electrical/control fault in the turbo wastegate (boost-control) solenoid that bleeds pressure to set boost. On turbo Mitsubishis this causes boost-control problems and possible limp/over-boost cut.

  1. Failed boost-control/wastegate solenoid ($50-150)
  2. Connector/wiring fault
  3. Plugged or cracked boost lines

Check first: Test the solenoid resistance and that it actuates; inspect its vacuum/boost lines. Pairs with P1103.
