P0113 — Intake Air Temp (IAT) Sensor High Input

What P0113 means
The intake-air-temperature signal reads as very cold (high resistance / open circuit). The computer uses IAT for fine fuel/timing trim.
Most likely causes (in order)
- IAT sensor connector / wiring (open circuit)
- Failed IAT sensor
- Often built into the MAF — bad MAF
Symptoms you might notice
- Check-engine light
- Slightly off cold-start behavior
What to check first
Check the IAT reading against actual ambient temp; inspect the connector. If integrated into the MAF, the MAF is the part.
