Dodge / Jeep / Ram / Chrysler STOP
Chrysler SKIM (Sentry Key Immobilizer Module) read an invalid/unprogrammed key transponder. The immobilizer disables start. Common after using a non-programmed key or a SKIM/wiring fault. Crank-no-start with the security light.
- Unprogrammed or wrong key ($50-250 to program)
- Failed key transponder ($50-150)
- SKIM/WIN module fault ($150-400)
- Antenna ring at ignition fault ($50-200)
Check first: Try a known-good programmed key; if no key works, scan SKIM and check the antenna ring/PIN programming.
